Looking for a fast and easy way to create fonts? Look no further, FontStruct is the answer!
The heart of FontStruct is the FontStructor, a web-application that lets anyone quickly and easily build fonts using basic geometric shapes in a grid — just like tiles or bricks. Fonts created with the FontStructor are called FontStructions. They can be downloaded as TrueType fonts and used in Mac or Windows applications.
Thriving on an active community, FontStruct can help put your fonts out there. Other users can comment on your creations and rate them.
The interface of the FontStructor (Flash) is easy to use and explains itself. It teaches you the basics of type-design. Furthermore, there is an option available to assign a creative commons license to your designs.
Here is something I have created, it is just the base of a font, I will probably tweak it here and there (especially the size of the arrows) ;) but it is a start! :)

That’s pretty neat!
Good to see you updating your blog again btw. :)
It is, isn’t it! We should do some fontstructing together!
And thanks, happy to be back! :D
Thx for the tip.
Any chance using these fontstructed fonts as web fonts?
