SELF Challenge 2009

I remember discovering SELF magazine just by surfing around while an ad grabbed my attention (normally they don’t, they tend to just annoy me ;) ).

I found the magazine interesting and joined the website and after a while I also joined the 2007 SELF challenge.

SELF offers a magazine full of healthy tips and examples of workouts. Even inspiring interviews. I loved it from the start!
Especially because they also offer free video’s and transcripts of workouts on their website.

I love the SELF challenges they offer. The main SELF challenge is a workout plan for 3 months, just before the spring season kicks in again and we have to wear short skirts and bikinis again ;) We all want to look good on the beach, don’t we?

The exercise plan consists of different exercises each month. I just started and the first month we have to do two strength workouts and three cardio workouts. While doing that you can also follow their meal plan with delicious healthy recipes!

I have been doing these 3 months challenges since 2007 and I must say they really do what they promised! That is, when you do the workouts and stuff ;) I don’t really follow their mealplans, but that is because I already eat very healthy, there is not much that I could do different to make my diet healthier.
