Steve Jobs has left the building

I find it kind of hard to write this post. Last night when I heard the news of Steve Jobs passing away the words just came to me naturally. Unfortunately it was really really late at night and I had to get up for my Italian class in a few hours. I suspect that the difficulty I am having with writing about this particular subject has something to do with the overload of media attention on the subject. Everywhere I look, it is Steve, even the people that made a hobby of bashing Apple are posting about it. I try to not let it influence me too much and just write my story on him, Apple and the influence they had and have on my life and that of others. To make sure I can write something good that lives up to this mastermind AND to be able to *maybe* find a picture of me as a child working on a Macintosh computer (fingers crossed) I will postpone this post.

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.”
