When the rescue ship comes, I’ll tell ‘em:

You’re stuck on an island with plenty of food, a companion, and a relatively stress-free lifestyle. What do you say when the rescue ship comes?

“Wrong island, take a turn left, then right, go that way for an hour or two and you should see the island you were looking for”

Of course I’m having the greatest time of my life on the island. Don’t know how long I will be able to stay there without going crazy, but hey, for the time being! Maybe I should ask them to leave a life raft, it would provide a way out in the case of a situation in which my companion and I are reaching for each others throats. Hopefully there will be another island relatively nearby.
